“Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be slave of all. For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
MARK 10:43-45
Six years ago, Dave Spiecker accepted the challenge of leading True Impact as the third executive director of our organization. It was a tumultuous time of change as our Board of Directors almost completely turned over as well. Dave embraced the challenge with grace. He developed new processes, updated our website, managed our finances, pioneered and ran our annual 5k fundraiser, managed the day-to-day operations and executed multiple trips to Uganda, both solo and with teams. His service to True Impact and the children we serve is greatly appreciated!

Several months ago, Dave indicated it was time for a change in leadership and helped us in our search for a new executive director. We are happy to report that Chip Early has accepted the role as True Impact’s new executive director! Chip has a degree in business management, enjoys coaching managers and leaders, loves working with people and has spent his career working in the church. We are excited for Chip to take over as he works with Dave through a transition over the next two months.

Heather Stewart has been serving as True Impact’s sponsorship coordinator for the last year and a half, much of that time in a volunteer capacity. We appreciate her work in keeping communication open between our sponsors and children over the last couple of years. In addition to Dave’s responsibilities, Chip will be taking on Heather’s as well.

Please join me in thanking Dave and Heather for their faithful service to our ministry, and welcome Chip as he transitions into his new role.
With much gratitude,
Andy Stewart
