A Season of Love and Joy

This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.  Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. – 1 John 4: 9-11

  • Abba Father, we are forever grateful that You have shown us immense love.  You are helping us learn the enormity of Your love for each one of us. We pray that each one of us will see Your love in us and in others on a daily basis.

  • Thank you, Father for the most amazing gift of Your Son as a sacrifice, a payment for our sins.

  • Jesus, we are so very appreciative of each donor and sponsor for making a sacrifice to help provide for the children and families in Uganda.

But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. – Luke 2:10-11

  • Yahweh, we pray for all to hear the Good News, that the Christ has come.

  • Lord, we ask that Your Joy be in the hearts of the children and their caretakers this Christmas and throughout the entire year.

  • Gracious God, we are thankful for the Christmas parties for the children to celebrate the joy of Jesus’ birth.

But when the set time had fully come, God sent his son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those under the law, that we might receive adoption to sonship. – Galatians 4:4-5

  • Eternal Father, we ask for Your Love and Protection on the children while each one is with family and guardians during their school break

  • God, our Provider and Teacher, we are very thankful for the Mentorship program and our Uganda leaders. We give thanks and praise to You for providing the place to meet, and the bus for transportation. We ask for Your guidance and wisdom to fill all the children and adults’ hearts, minds and souls.
