True Impact Ministries exists to serve the vulnerable and orphaned children in Uganda. We accomplish this mission through our sponsorship program that provides food, water, clothing, shelter, tuition, medical care (as needed), and shares the love of Jesus with each student.
Speaking for myself and the TIM board, we are thankful for each of you. We know that this work is nearly impossible without each person or family that donates, so thank you for all that you give financially to support this mission.
Financial resources, while hugely important, are only part of the way we can be a part of these students' lives. We believe that prayer is another great way to care for them when we are not with them. Thank you for praying for the students in our program.
We encourage you to join us this month as we’re reminded to spend some time remembering the things we’re thankful for in our lives and praying for those that don't have as much as we do.
We are thankful for our partners on the ground in Uganda; Maggie, Racheal, Pastor Isaac, Pastor Alex, and Pastor Patrick and Eva, for loving these children and caring for their needs. Because many of these students don’t have parents in their lives, our partners on the ground in Uganda are sometimes the ONLY support in spiritual and emotional matters that these students know.
James 1:27 tells us that "Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you."
We are thankful to Dave Spiecker for planning the 5K that raised money for our Higher Education Fund. That event was a great boost, and everyone that was able to attend had a great time.
Take a moment to pray for the following:
Our partners do not get tired of doing good, but they will have energy and joy to continue this important work. Galatians 6:9 says "9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up."
That the students in our programs are open to feel and receive the love and care from our partners that are in Uganda doing the daily work.
For wisdom and guidance as we plan 2025.
As examples come to mind of what you’re thankful for this year, I encourage you to sharethose in the comment section below.
