Child Sponsorship

The children in our sponsorship program are identified by the community and our in-country employees as needing assistance. Each child’s story is unique, but they are all deserving of services and a future which you can help provide through your donations to True Impact Ministries.

The children in our program rely on True Impact support for their:

Biblical Teaching
Food
Water
Clothing

Shelter
School Tuition and supplies
Life skills training
Medical care

Your tax-deductible sponsorship will work together with the other sponsors in supporting the children in our program. You will be helping True Impact kids learn and grow physically, mentally and spiritually.

Sponsorship of children extends from preschool through high school. Sponsors will have the opportunity to continue to provide for their sponsored child if they wish. This could mean vocational training like sewing, farming, auto repair or beauty shop among other skills. For some children it could mean continuing their education by attending a university or college. Your sponsorship will continue for as long as you wish until the child completes their education and training.

As you are looking through the children below, when you find one you want to sponsor, click on the Sign-Up Form link to register your support and for information on setting up recurring donations. True Impact will be in touch with you soon after we receive your information.

Sponsorship for a child is $100 per month. You can also share sponsorship with another sponsor at $50 per month. When you fill out the sign-up form, select full or half sponsorship.

Vicent

Salem Christian School

Vincent lives in Nakyenyi, Buzilandulu village. He was born November 7th, 2015 and lost both parents at the age of two years. He was raised by his grandmother who is also helpless. She has to struggle to take care of Vincent along with his siblings to provide their basic needs. He joined Salem Christian School in Baby Class and is now in Primary 2.

Assumpta

Salem Christian School

Assumpta is from Kimanya in Masaka district. She is 13 years old and has 6 siblings. She lost her father and her mother neglected her. She went to stay with her grandmother but she can’t walk properly and cannot support Assumpta or her siblings. Assumpta tried several times to go to a school but they kept refusing her because they could not pay the fees. Assumpta enjoys playing netball and her favorite chore is washing utensils.

Marvin S

Salem Christian School

Marvin has had a difficult life already. At one year of age, his mother abandoned him in a banana plantation and disappeared. Two days later his grandmother found him. She has attempted to care for him but is unable to meet his needs. Marvin is currently in Secondary 2 and dreams of becoming a doctor some day.

Olivia

Salem Christian School

Olivia lives with her parents in a nearby village. Her parents are unable to support Olivia and her 12 siblings. The mother is sick and the father is jobless. Olivia likes playing netball (like basketball but no dribbling and no backboard). She also likes watching movies and her main chore is washing clothes. She is currently in Secondary 2.

Prosper

Salem Christian School

Prosper is from Kimanya in Masaka district. He is 12 years old and has 6 siblings. He lost his father and his mother neglected him. He went to stay with his grandmother but she can’t walk properly and cannot support Prosper or his siblings. Prosper tried several times to go to a school but they kept refusing him because they could not pay the fees. Prosper enjoys playing football (soccer) and he loves debating.

Rashidah

Salem Christian School
Secondary Student

Rashidah’s parents are peasant farmers and cannot support her and her two siblings. They sought the help of Salem Christian School several years ago. She enjoys studying and desires to go to back to school to finish her education.

Paul

Salem Christian School

Paul and his younger brother Peter live with their grandmother who unfortunately is lame. Their mother left them when they were very young and no one knows who the father is. Paul likes the color blue, his favorite animal is the cow and he likes to play football (soccer).

Deborah

Salem Christian School
Secondary Student

Deborah is a very smart student when she is able to attend school. Her parents became unable to support her and her 7 siblings, so she had to start digging in fields to earn money for school. Deborah likes playing netball (like basketball but no dribbling and no backboard).

Sarah

Salem Christian School Secondary Student

Sarah lost her father when she was in Primary 4 and had to stay with her grandmother who goes in hardship to look for what to feed the family and also educating her. She was been studying at Salem Christian School just on mercy and has completed Primary school. She is now in Secondary 3.

Peter

Salem Christian School

Peter and his older brother Paul live with their grandmother who unfortunately is lame. Their mother left them when they were very young and no one knows who the father is. Peter likes the color blue, his favorite animal is the cow and he likes to play football (soccer).

Martha

Salem Christian School

Martha is living with her siblings with their uncle, but the uncle has a heart condition that hinders him from working and supporting the children. Martha likes the color pink and enjoys playing netball (like basketball with no dribbling and no backboard). Her favorite animal is the cow and her daily chores are cooking.

Florence

Salem Christian School

Florence was born March 5th of 2009. Both her parents have since died. She lives with her grandparents who are unable to support her or her three siblings. She would like to continue her education at Salem Christian School.
